JOHANNESBURG – South Africa’s solar PV market has hit a snag, this as the industry faces high demand for alternative sources of power to cushion the impact of power cuts.

Member-led organisation Sapvia has indicated in reports that the waiting time for solar PV installations is increasing.

But there have also been warnings that consumers should be careful of counterfeit products and bogus installers.
